Long Island Pride 2025: Honoring Grand Marshal Ryan Cassata

We are thrilled to announce that Ryan Cassata is the Grand Marshal for this year’s Long Island Pride!

Ryan is more than just an accomplished singer-songwriter, activist, and trailblazer—he is one of our own. His journey with the LGBT Network began as a young teen at the Center, and today, his voice echoes across national stages and global platforms advocating for trans rights and LGBTQ+ liberation.

With over 650 performances worldwide and seven powerful albums, Ryan’s music and message have changed lives. He’s been honored by Billboard, LOGO, Paper Magazine, and even recognized by the United States Congress. But before all of that—Ryan was a 13-year-old kid in crisis who walked through the doors of the Center looking for support, affirmation, and hope.

It was here that he found his voice, found his people, and found his purpose.

Ryan’s story is a shining example of what happens when a community shows up. The Center didn’t just provide a safe space—it helped save a life. It helped launch a life. And today, that life continues to inspire, uplift, and fight for others.

We’re proud to honor Ryan Cassata, not just for what he’s done in the world—but for what he means to our community.

Don't miss Ryan Cassata performing his powerful hit song "Daughter"—a heartfelt anthem that has inspired and moved audiences around the world:
