LA Pride was founded on the principle of serving our community in impactful ways. In recent years,​ ​the cost to produce a concert-style festival has necessitated higher and higher ticket prices. We know many people who struggle to afford, or are simply not interested in premium-priced music events. This was not what our founders envisioned in 1970 when we organized the first permitted LGBTQ parade in the world.

We have made the decision to not produce the ticketed concert, “LA Pride in the Park,” this year. Instead, we are allocating our resources to producing an LA Pride Parade & Festival that is free to all, and welcomes the entire community without income barriers.

This June, we hope you will celebrate each other, and the strength of Pride in Los Angeles, the Greatest. City. In. The. World.
