Ryan Cassada

Ryan Cassata is a transgender singer-songwriter and motivational speaker from Long Island, NY who – all by the age of 18 – successfully cut two records, booked and went on several tours, played the world’s biggest gay music festival, won the Harvey Milk Memorial Award and appeared on national and international TV several times. Ryan plays guitar, piano, harmonica, and sings. At the young age of 14, Ryan began to gig across Long Island. Now only 2.5 years later he
has made over 200 performances and has already completed a Florida tour, and two New England tours, titled “The Love Around The World Tour.” Cassata performed at the world’s biggest gay music festival, Pridefest Milwaukee, with other great musicians like Salt N’ Pepa, Chris Crocker & LeAnne Rimes.

 

Erinn Furey and the Free Candy Band

Finishing as a semifinalist on American Idol would fulfill bucket-list goals for many young talents, but for Erinn Furey, who made the top 30 in 2005, it kickstarted something else all together. After Idol, Erinn used her talents and music to make connections with yound and disadvantaged people and help them discover themselves. Being bullied in school and overcoming hardships faced as a youngster helped steer her current career choices, allowing her to dedicate herself to the Long Island community where she was raised. She also performs all over the tri-state area with her band, The Free Candy Band, and is in talks with several major labels for the release of her upcoming album.
